Do I need different products for morning and evening?
It usually depends on what you are treating that could demand using a different products morning and night
How often should I exfoliate?
Ones or Thrice a week this depends solely on your skin type, but
people with dry or sensitive skin should exfoliate once or twice a week
Dry skin definitely needs exfoliation. If you do not exfoliate regularly layers of dead skin cells will sit on the very top of your skin making it hard for your other skin care products to penetrate and do their job such as moisturizing.
Also if you do not exfoliate often your dry skin can become flaky and look dull. For these reasons, it is important to find the right product for your skin and be diligent about using it.
Normal skin can be oily in some areas and dry in others. This skin type is prone to seasonal changes, becoming drier in the winter and oilier in the summer. While you can be more aggressive with normal skin than with sensitive or dry skin, you should avoid using strong facial acids or exfoliation products excessively.
It is very important to regularly exfoliate oily skin to try to avoid pimples, blackheads, and clogged pores. While facial acids such as salicylic acid are an excellent skin care ingredient for oily skin you need to make sure that you do not overdo it when it comes to such ingredients. Even oily skin can become red and irritated from using too much of an exfoliating product. Oily skin may be exfoliated more often than any other skin type.
Do not exfoliate your body and your face with the same products. our body is not as sensitive or as oily as the skin on our faces so it needs to be treated differently. The body scrub you love so much should be used within chest and below not above.
How do I apply my facial scrub.
If you do use a facial scrub avoid rubbing hard on your face. Even people with oily skin might damage their skin if they are too aggressive with their exfoliation. Some people find that using a washcloth to exfoliate is both low cost and effective, just be sure you do not scrub too hard with the washcloth, and it needs to properly dry in-between uses to try to avoid bacteria growing in it.
Can diet really affect acne?
Yes, eating lots of refined carbohydrates may increase blood sugar and insulin levels and contribute to the development of acne.
Which areas of the body should you pay more attention to?
Your skin care routine shouldnt be on your face alone. you have to pay much attention to your hands, neck and chest, where the signs of aging are also visible.
Apply sunscreen in the morning, extend your treatments and moisturizer down to your chest, and rub excess product onto the backs of your hands.
Sunscreen should go everywhere. “The back of the legs is the most common place for melanoma on a woman’s body, so it’s important to use care with SPF coverage here.
What’s the best age to start using anti-aging products ?
Most people thought to start using anti-aging products when they're well into their fifties. In actual, you can and should start using these products as early as your 20s. This is the age when these products will be most productive for your skin.
Do i really need a separate eye cream?
Squinting and constant movement of the eyes also hasten the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and fluids collect under the eyes and cause puffiness and dark circles. Eye cream can rejuvenate and give it a youthful glow to the eye Areas, even skin tone, lessen the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, prep skin for makeup, and strengthen and protect the under-eye area.
